Expansion of the existing wastewater treatment plant to increase the rated capacity to 4.95 MGD. This project will construct an independent treatment train consisting of three new four-stage Bardenpho Basins, two new secondary clarifiers (100' diameter, 15' SWD), and two new chlorine contact tanks to work in conjunction with the existing facilities. The scope of work also includes a new Plant Headwork’s for increased wastewater screening and grit removal efficiency and capacity, as well as a new Blower/Electrical/Generator building. Other Improvements include additions and improvements to the plant reuse water supply system; the addition of odor control systems; a new 4,000 gallon double wall concrete fuel storage tank for the new 750 KW diesel generator; and new flow splitter box structures to distribute the flow between the new and existing treatment trains. Two (2) center-flow type fine screen (2 mm opening) for screening raw wastewater in lieu of one (1) center-flow type fine screen and one manual bar rack.
