After a number of years working with several prominent construction companies and engineering firms, Lamar Braxton founded Ortega Industrial Contractors in 1974 during an economic recession. In spite of a depressed industry, the company was an immediate success and growth has been steady since its inception. Mr. Braxton remains active in the leadership of Ortega with day to day operations delegated to other qualified management employees.

Based in Jacksonville, Florida, Ortega provides services to Municipal and Engineering Clients throughout Florida and South-east Georgia.
